Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Role description

oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a business. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is considered to be second in the chain of command. Focus on executing the company’s business plan, according to approved business model, while the CEO focuses on long-term goals and the broader company outlook. CEOs devise plans, while the COOs implement them. A COO’s responsibilities includes recruitment and hiring, financial operations, budget development, production oversight, and executing business strategy.
