Role description
communicates and gauges the public’s perception of a politician throughout political campaigns. They visit local communities to ask members of the public to share their political opinion or sign petitions. Gather information by traveling door-to-door on behalf of their employer, walking through neighbourhoods to leave flyers, and making phone calls to voters. Canvassers may also seek for donations if they work on a political campaign. Analyse responses for use in future research.
